Welcome to the Rotary Bandstand Website

 

The four Rotary clubs of Luton would like to thank The Steel Charitable Trust for their  grant of 100k which has enabled the Rotary Bandstand to move forward. Costing approximately 280k the Rotary Bandstand, entirely funded by private donation, business and The Steel Charitable Trust will be gifted to the people of Luton providing  a centre piece in Wardown Park with many concerts, music, art and cultural events delivered for Luton to enjoy. An opening event is now being planned for the August Bank Holiday weekend 2017 when the Bandstand will be officially opened by Lord Lieutenant of Bedfordshire Helen Nellis  and gifted to Luton borough council to own on behalf of Luton citizens’.
